End of the filming of UNCERTAIN GLORY

When the very hard shooting ends after eight weeks and with schedules turned by the night scenes, the fatigue of the equipment is very great, but only to feel the last blow of clap begins the longing of so much shared intensity, of so much hard work: the hugs and cries of the actors, the technicians, all those who have made it possible for a film to come out of nowhere that, if it is good, will go down in history. And if this happens with this UNCERTAIN GLORY, everyone knows that it will be due to his talent and his contribution under the firm and at the same time sensitive baton of this masterful architect of emotions who is Agustí Villaronga.

If the filming of PA NEGRE, we ended up stomping the horse on the cliffs of Tavertet, shocked by what we had just done, UNCERTAIN GLORY we finished it with the funniest scene in the script: the soldiers in the river in the heat receive orders of his superior, Lieutenant Picó -David Bagés– who gives them a speech about the great enemies of the army, lice and pornography in the face of the perplexity of a Lluís -Marcel Borràs- who has just joined the company. In the name of hygiene, he distributes soaps right and left and orders them not to be ashamed to show their shame and with the cry of - break ranks! - about fifty men, taking off their uniforms, jump into the water naked and euphoric, shouting -Long live the republic! - The discipline of filming does not prevent considerable revelry and envy of those of us who are not actors because the heat of June 22 is considerable.

Then a corrugation of carts pulled by donkeys and horses loaded with suitcases, blankets and personal items will take Lluís, Trini -Bruna Cusí- his son Ramonet and a handful of men and women who have lost the war, our refugees, into exile.

With this joy and sadness that well synthesize the mood of everyone and that did not want to lose the Oriol Pla, despite not touching the sequence, with this happiness for the good job well done, I want to give thanks to a technical and artistic team that has lived up to such an ambitious project.
